East/West Industries will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit in Nashville this April.
East/West’s (E/W) celebrations begin at the summit starting April 26th at the company’s booth (1050), where attendees are invited to share a toast and converse.
The celebration also highlights E/W’s recent recognition by Boeing as a Supplier of the Year in the Global Diversity category. E/W was one of just 13 companies honored for their distinguished performance with Boeing, who employs roughly more than 13,000 active suppliers in 57 countries.
As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, E/W will be raising funds for charity throughout the remainder of the year. For each exhibit visitor who mentions the company’s motto, “Saving Aircrew Lives is Our First Concern,” E/W will donate $1 to an assistance fund. The money raised will be distributed equally to the Wounded Warrior Project and Wreaths Across America.
E/W was founded in 1968 and currently manufactures and repairs aircraft seats and other products critical for crew safety and survival. The company’s seats have been selected for multiple high-profile rotorcraft, including the Sikorsky/Boeing SB1 Deifant, the Sikorsky S-97 Raider, the Boeing CH-47 Chinook and a range of other combat rescue helicopters. The company has delivered nearly 3,000 seats to a wide range of manufacturers through their years.
The company’s crash attenuating seats and unique Master Crane portable floor crane will be on display at the company’s exhibit at the Mission Solutions Summit. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions of attendees on E/W and their products.
