The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) teams with John Serock Catering, to present to one lucky active military or veteran couple a free wedding.
The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) announced May 4th, 2018 that they will be teaming up with veteran supporting business John Serock Catering, in West Chester, Pennsylvania to present one lucky active military or veteran couple a free wedding held on site at the museum. The romantic affair is scheduled to be held on Veterans Day, 2018, on Sunday, November 11.
“The Veterans Day Wedding Giveaway will comprise donations from local businesses: the photographer, DJ, florist, cake baker and much more,” explained Sarah Sands, AHMEC’s Executive Director. “It is a perfect example of the community coming together to serve others. We are thrilled to honor the veterans and active duty military personnel who give and have given so much to our country.” she added.
The wedding will be a five hour ceremony and reception for 100 guests, which includes the venue, catering, wine, beer, DJ, photographer, cake, tuxedo, florist and invitations.
“I feel it is extremely important to give back to those who serve this country. Not only do I have very close family members who are active and retired from different branches of the military, but I currently employ several people who are active Reservists in various branches of the Military,” said John Serock, President of John Serock Catering. “It is important for our country to take care of those who are willing put ‘service before self’ and fight for the freedoms that many of us take for granted.”
The wedding prize, perfect for any former or currently serving military aviators or other veterans and serving military couples is open to any couple where at least one partner is a currently serving or have prior service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Interested couples will need to move quickly as the application deadline to be in the running to win the wedding is Monday, May 21, 2018, with the winning couple notified by mid-June.
